There’s a
Better Story.

“Created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand.” Ephesians 2:10

For the guy who looks fine on paper, but underneath feels stuck, restless, or disconnected from his purpose.

I

Fine on paper

  • Family
  • Job
  • Church attendance
  • Doing the right things

But there’s a hum underneath it all. I’ve felt it too. Maybe you’re not the guy who blew up his life. Maybe you’re the older brother: responsible, present, but coasting.

Driven men can be disciplined and lost at the same time.

Is this what God is truly asking me to be?

II

What this is

We talk about masculinity, discipline, marriage, fatherhood, leadership, and faith as one story. Racing taught me discipline and sacrifice. Marriage and fatherhood give me skin in the game. Faith is the foundation beneath it all. New videos weekly.

Discipline

Motivation is temporary and needs a coach. Discipline shows up at 4:30 a.m., when only God is beside you.

Brotherhood

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” That’s not a slogan. It’s a blueprint for life.

Faith

“Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better.” The same effort I put into racing, pointed at God.

Sean Chin in front of his race medals

I’m Sean.

Christian, husband, father, dog dad, healthcare professional, 5x Ironman, and traveller to 58 countries. I’m not a pastor, theologian, or self-help guru. Just an ordinary Christian man trying to become closer to God and spread the good news.

A few of us started a men’s ministry at my church. The men showed up hungry, in good numbers, even on holidays. Men today are starving for brotherhood; they just don’t know how to ask for it.

I’m not here to lecture you. I’m in the fight too.
